Björk Bjarkadóttir

Born in Iceland, currently living and working in Oslo, Björk Bjarkadóttir likes to work with many different projects simultaneously. Her current projects include writing children books, illustration, graphic design, painting and of course photography.

"I enjoy doing different things, from writing and illustrating children books to designing covers and layouts, to taking photos. For me, it is not about being a designer or a writer, but being an artist and a creative person, choosing the tool that fits each idea.

My work doesn’t feel like “work” but more like a way of living. That means great ideas can come from anything at any given moment, and not necessarily when I am working at my desk."
